What is the difference between seat alerts and auto-booking?
Seat alerts only find and notify: you still book on the official site. Auto Grab is a separate paid service where the system books for you the instant a seat opens. Do you need my booking account or password?
Pure seat monitoring needs neither. The system only reads the publicly visible booking page and never logs into your account, so all we need is an email address for alerts. Only the separate Auto Grab service requires account access, and that is explained and quoted on its own.

When is a seat monitor most likely to find you something?

Two windows matter. The first is the minute a new batch of exam slots opens for registration, the second is the cancellation flow in the weeks before an exam. The first rewards preparation, the second is pure speed, which is exactly what automation is for.
When do new batches of TCF Canada slots get released?
It depends on the centre. Some publish the registration-open date and time in advance, while others open sessions without notice; each centre's own site is the authority. The page says full. Is there still a chance?
Yes. Seats are rarely gone forever: centres top sessions up irregularly, and candidates cancel, which puts seats back on the official page, often only for a few minutes. More tactics in what to do when you cannot get a slot.
How long before I can retake the exam?
Officially you must leave at least 20 days between two exams of the same type, not the 30 days often quoted online, so retakers are competing for the same seats. If a retake is likely, keep the monitor running. See TCF Canada retake rules.

Exam centres also call them places, spots or sessions, and the alert email itself is sometimes called a seat notification. Whichever word you use, our alerts cover it.
Do you need my booking account or password?
No. Seat monitoring only reads the publicly visible booking page, so it never logs into your account. All we need is an email address to send alerts to. Only the separate paid Auto Grab service, where we book on your behalf, needs account access, and that is quoted and explained separately.
After I get a seat alert, do I still book it myself?
Yes. We find the seat and email you immediately with a direct link to the official booking page, then you choose the session and pay on the official TCF Canada site yourself. We never book for you unless you buy the separate Auto Grab service.

On our side, the monitor watches the official booking page continuously, around the clock, and spots a change within about 0.18 seconds on average, so there is no once-every-few-hours gap for a seat to slip through.
Is TCF Monitor legit and reliable?
Judge it by hard criteria rather than promises: pure monitoring only reads the public official booking page and never asks for your centre account or password; it costs $20 CAD per month with no contract, cancel anytime; and we never claim a guaranteed seat: the monitor guarantees you hear first, while booking still depends on how many seats open and how fast you act. Be wary of any service that does promise a guaranteed seat. If in doubt, subscribe for one month and test the alert speed yourself.
Can a seat monitor guarantee I get a seat?
No. A monitor gets you the news earlier and lets you act faster, but whether you book depends on how many seats the centre releases and how quickly you finish checkout. On a Victoria release we logged, every session was held within seconds of opening. Treat any guaranteed seat claim with caution.
