Terms of Service
1. About This Service
This Service monitors the official booking pages of TCF Canada exam centres (Alliance Française and others) in six Canadian cities: Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria, Vancouver, and Winnipeg. When an exam slot becomes available — or when a booking page changes — in your subscribed city, the system sends an alert email to the address you provided at sign-up.
This Service has no official affiliation with France Éducation international, any Alliance Française exam centre, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), or any provincial nominee programme (PNP). It is an independent third-party information aggregation service.
2. Subscription & Billing
- Price: $20.00 CAD / month, billed in Canadian dollars, auto-renewing every 30 days
- Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Canada; we never handle your card details
- You may cancel at any time (see Section 3); no further charges occur after the current billing period
- If pricing changes, existing subscribers will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance
3. Cancellation & Refunds
- Cancel via the one-click unsubscribe link in any alert email footer, or through the "Manage subscription" link that opens the Stripe Billing Portal
- Cancellation takes effect immediately; billing stops at the next renewal date
- Fees already paid for the current month are non-refundable on a pro-rata basis; you continue receiving alerts for the remainder of the paid period
- Exception: if a service outage caused by us lasts more than 7 consecutive days, you may request a pro-rata refund by emailing [email protected]
4. Service Limitations & Disclaimers
- We make every reasonable effort to monitor official booking pages, but we do not guarantee that you will successfully book an exam slot. Slot frequency, quantity, and availability are determined solely by the exam centres and France Éducation international
- Alert delivery depends on third-party email infrastructure (Resend) and your email provider (Gmail, Outlook, etc.). We are not directly liable for delays, spam filtering, or lost messages
- Policy changes — TCF Canada exam reforms, fee adjustments, centre closures — are made by the official authorities; we track them reactively
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from missed alerts, slots booked by others, or policy changes
5. Your Responsibilities
- Provide an accurate email address that can receive messages
- Do not share your subscription with others (one subscription = one email address)
- Ensure that your visa status, exam eligibility, and booking requirements comply with official rules
- Do not use this Service for any purpose that violates Canadian law or TCF Canada's own terms of service
6. Termination
You may cancel at any time. We reserve the right to terminate accounts immediately, without refund, if we detect abuse such as automated bulk sign-ups, identity fraud, or deliberate spam generation.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active subscribers at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by federal Canadian law and the law of the province in which you reside at the time of subscription. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Canada.

10. Provincial Variations
Where these Terms are applied within a Canadian province, local consumer-protection legislation may impose additional requirements:
- Quebec (Loi sur la protection du consommateur): certain limitations in Section 4 cannot derogate from consumer rights in B2C contracts
- British Columbia / Ontario: digital subscription services may be subject to a 14-day cooling-off right in certain circumstances
If the statutory rights in your province are more favourable than these Terms, those statutory rights prevail. Nothing in these Terms attempts to waive any non-waivable legal right.
