What does TCF Monitor offer?
We offer TCF Canada seat monitoring: CAD $20 per month per city. We monitor the official booking pages of the test centres in six cities around the clock and alert you by email or Telegram when a seat is released; you then book it yourself on the centre's website. This service does not need your exam account or password.
No service can guarantee a seat: monitoring makes sure you hear about a release first, and whether you get the seat depends on how many are released. A private, invitation-only booking service is also available; it is not open for public sign-up, and its details are shared only with those invited.
Which test centres does TCF Monitor cover?
Seat monitoring covers 6 cities, 7 TCF Canada test centres and 11 exam sites in Canada:
- Alliance Française de Toronto: downtown, North York, Mississauga and Oakville sites
- Alliance Française de Vancouver: Cambie and New Westminster sites; and Ashton Testing in Vancouver
- Alliance Française de Victoria, Alliance Française d'Edmonton, Alliance Française de Calgary, and Alliance Française du Manitoba (Winnipeg)

What will appear on my card statement?
The seat-monitoring subscription appears on your card statement as TCFMONITOR.
How do I cancel, and are payments refunded?
Use the one-click unsubscribe link in any alert email, or cancel from your account page. Cancellation takes effect immediately: no further charges are made from the next billing period, and you keep receiving alerts for the rest of the paid period. Under Section 3 of the current Terms of Service, each subscription payment is a final sale and is not refunded pro rata.
Are payments and personal information safe?
- Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment provider; we never see or store your card number.
- Seat monitoring only reads public information on the centres' official booking pages. It does not need or touch your exam account or password, and it never books on your behalf.
- Personal information is handled in accordance with Canada's PIPEDA and applicable law; it is never sold, rented or used for advertising.
- The site uses only essential technologies and limited first-party analytics, with no advertising tracking.
What data do you collect?
Seat monitoring needs only your email address. If you choose Telegram alerts we also keep your Telegram chat ID and username, and delete them when you switch back to email. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
